ALS International operates in oil and gas, mining, and renewables across Australia. Their clients are procurement managers and operations directors who evaluate vendors before picking up the phone. The company's previous web presence did not reflect their capability or track record.

The brief: a site that looks like a company handling million-dollar contracts. Clean. Technically credible. Able to stand up to scrutiny from a professional buyer who is comparing three vendors in a browser tab.

We spent a week on architecture before any design work. Five service verticals, each with its own page: project logistics, equipment supply, site operations support, engineering consulting, and renewables logistics. Each service page built around what the buyer needs to know, not what the company wants to say about itself.

The design is intentionally conservative. Dark navy. Clean typography. No animation, no hero video. A professional-services client in this sector is not impressed by motion design. They want to see capability, certifications, case studies, and a team they can trust.

The build took four weeks in WordPress with a custom Divi child theme. Twelve pages delivered: service verticals, team profiles with individual bios, a project portfolio with filterable categories, and a contact section with direct lines to specific team members. Under 2 seconds on mobile. Divi with a stripped child theme, no page builder overhead.

After launch we moved into the SEO phase. A full keyword audit mapped 120+ terms across the Australian market. Technical issues identified and resolved. A 12-month content plan built around commercial-intent keywords first.

Six months of consistent SEO work produced first-page rankings for eight primary target terms. The site now receives inbound enquiries from companies that have never been referred. That was the goal. Mission accomplished.
